This March to June, the Archive presented Glory Days: When Leslie Met Anita, a film retrospective that explored the multiple significance superstars Leslie Cheung and Anita Mui had in the 1980s and 90s Hong Kong pop culture, recalling at the same time the glory days when Hong Kong cinema flourished in both themes and styles.

Thanks to the tremendously enthusiastic response from audiences, the Archive will be extending the programme to September and October, the respective birth months of the two stars. Seven classic films covering different genres will be screened from 28 September to 1 October at the North District Town Hall.
