"More Than a Piece of Paper: Rediscovering Hong Kong Movie Posters" showcases near 100 movie posters of different genres dating from the 1960s to recent years, including Happy Wedding (1959), The Way of the Dragon (1972), The Beasts (1980), True Colours (1986), God of Gamblers II (1990), Visible Secret II (2002), Naked Ambition (2003), Re-cycle (2006), Life Without Principle (2011) and A Simple Life (2012). And don't miss out on our experience zone which features a nostalgic model Nathan Road lined with posters, as well as a bus stop with a huge horror movie poster. Apart from the aesthetics of poster design, visitors will learn more about the commercial considerations behind a movie poster and the promotional impact of this marketing tool.
