Introduction
The neverending clash between cops and criminals has provided material for many classic films that the cops-and-robbers genre has become one of the dominant genres of Hong Kong cinema. There are many excellent cops-and-robbers classics in the Archive's flagship programme, ‘100 Must-See Hong Kong Movies', and five uniquely different films are picked for screening in December to give audience a chance to revisit these beloved classics and showcase the diversity of 1980s Hong Kong cops-and-robbers films.
