In the 1960s, Law Bun established Hong Kong Film Co. which produced a string of wuxia hits with great reviews and box office including this film. As equally revered wuxia masters, Kenneth Tsang Kong and Suet Nei partner up to chase after a common enemy. Considering herself invincible, Suet always battles head-on but escapes doom every time only because Tsang is helping her in secret. The film's massive ensemble cast and extravagant sets and costumes was a testament to Hong Kong Film Co.'s strong financial backing. One of Suet's fight scenes so far exceeded similar productions in quality that the film became a bona fide classic for both Hong Kong Film Co. and the on-screen couple.
