Widely known as a ‘patriotic artist', Kwan Tak-hing actively participated in patriotic activities during the Chinese War of Resistance. In this first Wong Fei-hung film he produced, Kwan infused elements of patriotism rarely seen before as Wong Fei-hung helps border generals to combat five treasonous villains including the main antagonist Villain Kin and four other martial arts masters in succession at the battle ring. Kwan went the extra mile in both fight choreography and performance in his first production films. The fighting scenes included not only hand-to-hand combat but also stunning fight using assorted weaponry.
