Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao moved the action to forests in Vietnam, where a makeshift team of convict soldiers are recruited to destroy an old American bunker filled with missiles. They meet the Cambodian guerrillas and work together to complete the dangerous mission. Hung and Yuen continued to dazzle the audience with unprecedented manoeuvres such as killing the enemy by slinging leaves like lethal darts. Yuen Wah, another member of the ‘Seven Little Fortunes' trained by Yu Jim-yuen, shone in his role as the Vietnamese General. Having a moderate career at the Shaw Brothers Studio, Yuen Wah thrived as the villain in this film, another proof of the extraordinary chemistry between fellow apprentices.
