The Millionaries' Express

A big hit released during the Chinese New Year holidays, this martial arts action western film bore all the hallmarks of a Hong Kong blockbuster. On the run from international police, Sammo Hung blows up the rail tracks with dynamite and forces a train to detour to his own hometown. His ploy to make the train passengers spend money there works, but it also attracts a group of bandits to invade the town. Hung has no choice but to team up with his previous enemy Yuen Biao, the town's head of security, to fight the bandits. The lavish production was headlined by Hung and Yuen along with an ensemble cast of stars, giving a fresh take on the action sequences.
