The star shines, in almost everything and across time. Hsia Moon is one of the best-remembered faces to grace the screen: all beautiful and talented. Her extraordinary panache spanned decades. She came to her instant fame for her screen debut A Night-time Wife (1951), followed by a great number of unforgettable performances. Elgeant and graceful, Hsia was coined The Crown Princess of Great Wall. Hailed as "God's masterpiece", she carried her flawless face and physique to build up also a diversity of screen persona and acting skills. A prima donna exhibiting faith and inner strength, Hsia Moon epitomised the modern outlook of the Great Wall/Feng Huang titles. Sixty-five years have passed, Hsia Moon radiates charm and grace as before. This exhibition gathers images and traces of the much-loved screen goddess of all time.
