Love in the Buff

Unlike its prequel, Love in the Buff is free from the marketing restrictions of being a Category III film. The sequel was therefore targeted for both the student and mainland audience. In this Mainland-Hong Kong co-produced film, both Jimmy Cheung and Cherie Yu work in Beijing after their breakup. Jimmy then develops a relationship with air stewardess, Cherie is also dating someone else… With the general impression of such co-productions geared towards the taste of mainland audience, Love in the Buff is a rare box office hit as a co-production in both the Mainland and Hong Kong markets.
