Law Yim-hing is dubbed Ambassador of Alluring Beauty  very much because of her role as the Queen of Snow Kingdom in this romantic musical comedy. A wandering musician (Cheung Ying) is too charming to get married until he meets the Queen of Snow Kingdom (Law). But a luxurious married life comes with a cost - he soon finds that he is losing his freedom and dignity under the power of the Queen, and decides to run away. At the end, the Queen gives up her throne to reconcile with the love of her life. The film carries a heavy scent of western flavour with Cheung performing Cantonese opera in western costumes, while Law accentuates her womanly curves in various western gowns. Her rare, sensual bathing scene continues to thrill audiences through the ages.
