Yam Kim-fai and Law Yim-hing shine in the roles of Tik Ching and his wife Princess Sheung Yeung. Tik is victorious in defeating the enemy with help from Sheung Yeung. To avenge her husband's death by Tik, hostile Princess Fei Lung (Chan Wai-yu) presents a fake pearl flag as sign of surrender, and seeks marriage to Tik through Emperor Song Renzong (Cheung Sang). On the wedding night, Fei Lung tries to assassinate Tik and is killed instead. Tik subsequently fakes death to avoid the schemed attempt on his life. Judge Bao (Siu Sun Kuen) eventually uncovers the plot, and Tik captures the real pearl flag from the enemy.
