Law portrays Cheung Yuk-king, the beautiful wife of driver Ko Ming (Cheung Ying). The two are happily married, but their marriage is put to the test when Hon (Woo Fung), Ko's manager who lusts for Cheung's beauty, plots to damage their relationship by setting Ko up. He accuses Ko of smuggling and at the same time pretends to be a decent man taking care of Cheung after her husband is arrested. When Ko is released from jail, he takes revenge on Hon by exposing his smuggling deals, and finally reunites with his wife. It was the first time Woo Fung took on a villain role. The slyness and hypocrisy he depicted was in striking contrast with Law's delicacy and innocence.
