Adapted from the opera The Hero's Blood on Mount Pipa, this film tells a story of two brothers and stars Mak's brother Mak Bing-wing and Mak Sin-sing. Bing-wing puts on display a fiery passion, as his character mistakenly believes his fiancée Sung Yuk-lei (Fung Wong Nui) has fallen in love with someone else and tries to kill her, the two stage a combat that involves a hair-flinging stunt lasting up to 20 seconds. Later, Bing-wing battles his younger brother (Mak Sin-sing), fighting with bare fists and plucking each other's amour apart fiercely. What makes the film a true gem is the record of the traditional performance formula of an act Prime Minister of Six States, featuring veteran artist Lan Chi Pak, as well as rising stars Yau Sing-po, Yuen Siu-fai and Lam Kam-tong, who make cameo appearances in the act.
