Ever since they worked together on Prince of Broadcasters (1966), director Patrick Lung Kong has preferred to cast Patrick Tse Yin as flawed men in need of redemption from a saintly woman. The ethereal Josephine Siao takes up the saintly woman role in this poignant melodrama. Tse stars as a street thug who accidentally kills a man during a robbery. When he learns that his victim has a blind daughter (Siao), he tries to redeem himself by taking care of her. Shot in vivid colours, Window is a moving love story anchored by stellar performances by two matching leads.
