Mr. Boo VIII Chocolate Inspector

Anita Mui shows off her comedic chops with comedy genius Michael Hui in this detective comedy. Hui stars as Inspector Chu, a cop whose talents have been long underused. Chu finds a new reason to gripe when his boss sends his daughter, Kiu-kiu (Mui), to train under Chu's wing. As a rookie cop who is also a contestant in a beauty pageant, Mui is a delight to watch as her character tries to balance a life as an idealistic crime fighter and an aspiring beauty queen. Also worth noting: This comedy marks the first film that features Mui's real voice instead of a dub by a voiceover artist.
