My Fair Lady and its source material Pygmalion get the Hong Kong treatment in this very funny comedy of manners. While spending a day in the woods with friends, Keung (Tam Bing-man) encounters Yin (Ho Suet-ying) when she steals a roast chicken from his picnic. Realising that the mischievous Yin also happens to be a pure, kind-hearted girl, Keung makes a bet with his friends that he can transform Yin into a posh modern lady within six months. The training process – involving etiquette courses, driving lessons and English lessons – isn't easy, but the surprising result of transforming Yin will surprise and delight you. In his first foray into film acting, Tam makes a memorable impression as the tall, handsome and kind young man who is out on a mission to civilise.
