Hon (Alan Tang) goes to the city in search of opportunities. He becomes best friends with Hong (Ko Fung) and becomes a paid companion for Lorna (Wan Fong-ling), a rich man's mistress. Lorna also has a sad story of her own: After being forced into prostitution at a young age, Lorna had to leave her young daughter in an orphanage to conceal her identity. Lorna believes that Hon may finally bring her the true happiness that she has been waiting for, but her hopes come crashing down when Hon reunites with his first love Lan (Miu Ka-lai). Taking a brave 180-degree turn from her screen persona, Wan revealed her wicked side in a breakthrough performance as a mistress whose primary hobby is indulging in handsome younger men.
