Enjoy Longevity - 300 Years

When villager Wo (Tam Bing-man) unwittingly sets a wizard free, he is offered two wishes as reward. Like any other normal person, Wo wishes for unlimited wealth and immortality. However, as other fables have taught us over the years, both things are bound to create trouble for our hero for years to come. Tam played a man who transforms from a lucky hero into a tragic character and is forced to witness multiple generations of his family members wither away. He gave a moving performance that would ultimately become a highlight of his long, illustrious acting career. Writerdirector Yeung Kuen turned a high-concept fantasy comedy into a contemplative film with heavy philosophical issues that will be discussed long after the film is over. Note that some parts of the film are not suitable for children.
