King Kong and the bald detective Albert Au are back together for another round of crazy antics in this riotous sequel. This time, the unlikely justice duo is tasked with taking down both a local gang and the Italian mobster who is hell-bent on avenging White Glove with a dangerous fixer named Black Glove. Director Eric Tsang clearly set on giving the audience more bang for their buck this time around, throws in more car chases, explosions, wacky comedy, robots and even filmmaker Tsui Hark in an outlandish cameo as a mental patient posing as an FBI agent. The result is a rollicking good time that solidified the popularity of the Aces Go Places franchise.
