Three of the most beautiful actresses of their generation, Yu So-chow, Josephine Siao Fong-fong and Connie Chan Po-chu star in this thrilling, action-packed chapter of the Journey to the West adventure as three villains who are out to capture monk Tong. Nine Tail Fox (Yu) and Jade Hare Spirit (Siao) have finally gain human bodies, and they're teaming up with Green Snake Spirit (Chan) to take Tong's yang essence. Fortunately, Tong's disciple The Monkey King (Yuen Siu-fai) will stop at nothing to rescue his master, even if he has to turn to the gods for help. Even though the film is usually presented in black-and-white on television, the HKFA has obtained a rare Eastmancolor print of the film for this screening, breathing new life into the film's gorgeous costume and elaborate sets.
