The story begins when the life of foreign educated bachelor Peter (Peter Chen Ho) is turned upside down following an article about his strict criteria for a wife brings him the attention of four women: Relentless reporter Miss Lee (Grace Ding Ling), depressed widow Miss Chiu (Pat Ting Hung), a rich heiress (Margaret Tu Chuan) and fame-starved sales girl Miss Chin (Fanny Fan Lai). In the end, Peter and Miss Lee work together to solve the other three women's problems, bringing this light, comical story to its happy ending.
