Sharing of Resources
It has always been part of the Archive's mission to share our collection with the public. As a venue for sharing resources, our Resource Centre serves a great number of researchers and film lovers locally and abroad every day. The centre is equipped with internet service and computers linked to the latest Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) Museums Collection Management System, so users can browse within the system or utilise other electronic resources. The Archive collection itself also includes numerous kinds of audiovisual and electronic materials, such as Chinese and English film publications, posters and stills. To celebrate the Archive's 20th Anniversary, the Resource Centre has renovated some of the facilities in 2020 in the hopes of bringing a new experience for reading and research, in that way sharing their resources with visitors and the general public.
