The King of Blunders (Leung Sing-por) leaves his wife and moves into a villa in the countryside with his lover Suzie (Fung Wong Nui). However, their arrogance leads to a quarrel with Siu Po-po (Fung Bo-bo), the girl living next door, who rounds up the other village children to play tricks on the couple time and again. A furious Suzie buys the stone house that Siu and her mother call home, evicting them.

Leung depicts the King of Blunders, the titular character of Lui Yu-tin’s comic, with remarkable resemblance. This is the third instalment of the King of Blunders film series from 1960. After playing opposite Law Yim-hing in the first two movies, he now faces talented child actress Fung Bo-bo as his archnemesis. Fung has always been adept at delivering poignant performances, and her portrayal of a bright, adorable, and slightly mischievous country kid in this film naturally delighted audiences. She repeatedly pranks the King of Blunders to the point where he does not know whether to laugh or cry, leaving him no choice but to concede defeat and end all conflicts on amicable terms.
