Luk Sau-king (Josephine Siao) does not defect to the dark side, but instead uses her cover to help Lok Chen-yu (Connie Chan in a cross-cast role) and company, making off with the stolen ‘Seven Princesses’ and destroying the villains’ lair. The heroes discover that the kingpin of the Centipede Clan is one of their own. On their way to bringing the traitor before the leader of the martial arts community, the treasures are tricked out of their hands. The seven swordsmen pledge allegiance to each other, vowing to fight the forces of evil to the bitter end and reclaim the ‘Seven Princesses’.

Since Chan, Fung Bo-bo, Nancy Sit, and Shum Chi-wah had already played male characters as child actresses, depicting the valiant young swordsmen in this film came as second nature. Siao, Fung So-po, and Wong also dazzled with charisma in their roles as heroines.
