Director Yonfan first met renowned artist Huang Yongyu in the 1970s. Three days before Chinese New Year's Eve in 2012, Huang, at his studio, candidly shared his life stories with Yonfan. Twelve years later, Yonfan produced Crossing Years (2024) with the valuable historical footage. Far-Sun Film Co Ltd, the film’s production company, has generously contributed the portraits for this special exhibition. These rarely seen portraits capture their precious shared moments.
