Wong engaged renowned Korean director Shin Shang-ok and Korean Best Actor Park No-sik to make a James Bond-style secret agent film in Hong Kong, reflecting Hong Kong’s unique geo-political position during the Cold War. Korean secret agent Bai Min (Park No-sik) is ordered to come to Hong Kong to capture two spies who have stolen national secret intelligence. He discovers the two agents have been killed and relevant documents are missing. While pursuing available clues, Bai meets with Maria (Ting Ying), an agent on his side, as well as Xianglan (Helen Li Mei), an agent on the opposing side. Between the two women, Bai manages to acquire new clues, and at the same time is involved in some spectacular combat. In the numerous exciting fight scenes, Park insisted on not using any stunt doubles, and his agility and strength are obvious. Ting Ying also did her own stunts, climbing a rope and hanging off a helicopter over 1,000 feet into the air, looking very dangerous and exciting. In addition, the camera takes the audience on a tour of Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories, including landmarks such as the Tsim Sha Tsui pier, Sai Kung Market, Jumbo Floating Seafood Restaurant, as well as other street scenes. This was also Helen Li Mei’s last film. In her two racy bed scenes with Park, she is demure and gorgeous, and very sexy indeed.
