In this adaptation of Cao Yu’s drama, Ng Cho-fan displays his usual brilliance as the rednecked man of grudge, while Wong Man-lei plays the menacing blind old woman. But the major highlight comes from Hung Sin Nui as the charming yet shrewish ex-lover, who shines bright in this dark thriller about human nature, hatred, and revenge.
