A paranoid psychopath (Anthony Wong) flees to South Africa after committing murder, only to murder again and contract the Ebola virus in the process. The psycho brings the virus back to Hong Kong, spreading the disease in the most diabolical ways possible. Exposing the worst side of human nature, Herman Yau pushes bad taste to the extreme with this gruesome, nihilistic horror film. However, you can see a much softer, tender side of Herman afterwards with Fried Glutinous Rice , his sentimental ode to old Hong Kong. Revolving around a long-lost street delicacy known as "Fried Glutinous Rice", this 13-minute short laments the loss of local traditions in the face of modernization and globalisation.
