This is My Home is a far more tender film, showing two sisters born in the Mainland from Hong Kong parents as they move to Hong Kong for a better life and end up being involved in various social movements, including their right of abode in Hong Kong. Both Reunion and this film capture the difficult reality facing those who come to Hong Kong looking for a better life, depicting their battle against social injustices with a humanist touch that is also critical of the system.
