Lin Dai's star presence shines gloriously in this delightful adaptation of the Cinderella fable. A variation of the backstage musical, the show that must go on is a fashion parade to benefit an orphanage. This gives Lin an excuse to change into sets of gorgeous costumes, one of which involves over a dozen bridal gowns as the star puts herself through wedding rites of several cultures, all the while lipsynching mellow melodies.
