The Legend and The Beauty

Lin Dai is a legendary figure in Hong Kong cinema. She was not only a star who could play a variety of characters but also a loving wife and able mother. She died before her times, throwing her legions of loyal fans into sorrow and leaving them mournful longings.

We are able to stage this exhibition only with the generous help of Lin's son Lung Tzong-hann. One section will recreate Lin's bedroom in the apartment she shared with her husband and son. And another will feature artifacts from her film ventures as wellas the beautiful costumes she wore in her films.
