Down Memory Lane: Movie Theatres of the Olden Days

Down Memory Lane: Movie Theatres of the Olden Days

Date: 6 Dec 2013 – 2 Mar 2014
Venue: Exhibition Hall, Hong Kong Film Archive

Hong Kong Film Archive presents Down Memory Lane: Movie Theatres of the Olden Days to all movie lovers. Down Memory Lane showcases a wide range of precious theatre relics, such as photos, handbills, movie tickets, and objects used by theatre staff in the yesteryears. The archive has also invited distinguished movie poster artist Mr. Chow Keung out of retirement to redraw 6 traditional posters for showing at the exhibition. We hope all the old and young cinephiles are able to immerse into the nostalgia and have a taste of the lost sentiments.
