'Go to Sister Ling's to pick costumes!' This is an often-repeated phrase within the art and film circles of Hong Kong.

Kam Bik-ling (Sister Ling) established her costume-rental business in 1999. It is now the only costume-rental business in Hong Kong. For over 20 years, Sister Ling provided precious support for the film industry, operating her business hands on. She had also donated many of her costumes to the Hong Kong Film Archive. We are proud to have Sister Ling serve as tour guide in our programme, taking us on a journey of Hong Kong costumes.

Edith Cheung is one of the most respected art directors and costume directors of Hong Kong cinema. She is devoted to cultural conservation and education and had donated costumes to the Archive on many occasions.

'Two or Three Things about Film' Let's Talk Clothes will take audiences through an expedition of movie costumes, with Sister Ling and Edith sharing insights and stories in the dressing of actors (and sometimes things) in films. Not to be missed!

The programme ended in success! Audience may now revisit the excerpts on Hong Kong Film Archive's YouTube channel.
